The BS HQ has been awarded the Vejle-Prisen by the municipality of Vejle.
The motivation: the Bagger-Sørensen family HQ is an integrated site where all details have been taken into consideration – from the pretty little road with Corten steel lamps leading to the main entrance to the parking rondels with trees in the middle. The beautiful building is placed nicely in the landscape. The terrasse of the canteen soars over an artificially created lake. The building itself is composed of three light blocs which are tied together by a recurrent wall of bricks which frames the main entrance. The roof and the big canopies soar easily and elegantly over the walls of glass.
The owners of the office building, represented by one of the two brothers, Claus Bagger-Sørensen, gratefully received the price. He thanked both RAVN Arkitektur and KG Hansen for having understood the essence of his and his brother, Steen’s wishes and built the magnificent house.
